Described as ‘Riverwoman’s daughter’, a ‘nature spirit’ with long blonde hair and a voice ‘as old or young as time’.

Start: Friday afternoon 3.00pm.

Vacate: by 10.00am Friday morning

4 berth steel narrowboat. Length 50ft. Beam 6’10”.

Tiller steering. Cruiser style open rear deck. Barrus/Yanmar diesel engine with ‘hospital’ silencer and acoustic insulation.

Hot and cold water. Shower. Electric light and fridge with separate freezer compartment. Propane gas cooking. Microwave oven. Modern macerator toilet. 230volts electric/usb charging sockets. (max 2.00Kw)

TV/DVD. Hairdryer. Diesel-fired central heating.

A comfortable boat for 4 people. Entrance from the cruiser style rear deck is through double doors, with sliding hatch, into the lounge dining area. This has L-shaped seating around a large table, able to seat 4 persons comfortably, and slides out easily to form a double bed, size 6’6” by 4’6” (2.0 x 1.37 metres). This can be left made up as a bed as there is a further table supplied for the front cabin.

Next is the U-shaped galley, with full-sized gas cooker, electric fridge with separate freezer compartment, microwave oven, sink unit and ample storage for food and utensils. Hot water for taps and shower is heated by the engine and from the central heating boiler when required.

The bathroom comes next with a modern electric macerator toilet, an integral shower bath unit and a washbasin.

The front bedroom has 2 single berths, 6’6” x 2’3” (2.00 x 0.69 metres) that move together to form a double bed. Plastic storage boxes are supplied to slide into the space under all beds. There are wardrobes for clothes hanging in each cabin. The rooms can be separated by doors for privacy. There are 230volts ac sockets in every room.

Access to the front deck is through double doors, glazed for good forward views. Folding chairs are supplied for outside sitting, either in the front deck-well, or on the canal bank.
